February 18, 2016 House Office Building Rooms 170 & 180 President's PerspectiveDear MAHC Members and Friends, Happy New Year and congratulations to everyone who was awarded Tax Credits in the latest round. It looks like 2016 is already shaping up to be a busy year. With Housing Day just a month away, I urge you to join us in Annapolis on February 18, 2016 to show our legislators how many people care about affordable housing and how important it is to the Maryland economy. The Capital Budget is out, and we have our work cut out for us - the Governor's budget only provides $10 Million for Rental Housing Works and our goal is $25 Million. We need you to help us make the case for additional funds. Please register to attend Housing Day and bring your staff, consultants and residents so that we can fill up the room. I hope to see you there on February 18th! ~Chickie Grayson It's Time To Renew Your MembershipYou should have received several membership renewal notices by now, thanks to our new membership management system that was implemented recently to track and manage all of our membership information.
